Im so proud of our PhD candidates at the University of Bergen! I have been developing a PhD course with professor Birgit Kopainsky and Administrative Leader Hiwa Målen. The course was interdisciplinary and UN provided our candidates with an authentic SDG challenge. My research on interdisciplinary innovation work was combined with System dynamics (Birgit´s expertise) and the candidates learned how to write a grant proposal (Hiwa´s expertise). We were a Dream team:-) The PhD candidates did an amazing job and UN was there on the "Learning Festival" on Thursday. I think that creativity and learning to work in interdisciplinary teams are very important for all of us - and especially for our young researchers!
